Tips and Tricks

When lighting your candle for the first time, make sure to burn until you reach a full melt pool — that is, until the melted wax has reached the edges of the vessel, approximately 3 hours. Candles have memory and if you don’t burn to a full melt pool in your first burn, the candle can possibly do what is called “tunneling,” which means it will burn down instead of out and down.

Since your candle has been individually crafted out of natural, non-toxic ingredients, some slight discoloration, bubbles and bumps might occur, which is natural and nothing to worry about. The candle itself and its cozy scent will not be affected in any way.

Always make sure to trim your wick to ¼ inch before each burn as well for optimal burn time. Your 8 oz candle has an estimated burn time of 40 to 50 hours, while your 2 oz candle has an estimated burn time of 12 to 16 hours. I hope you enjoy every second.
