Frequently Asked Questions
What type of wax do you use?
We use a coconut soy blend that is sustainable and eco-friendly, with no paraffin, so you can feel confident that what you’re burning is safe and good for not just you but the planet.
Are any of your ingredients harmful?
No. From our custom blended fragrances to our pitch black dye, all ingredients are non-toxic, phthalate-free and free from carcinogens, mutagens, reproductive toxins, organ toxins, and acute toxins.
How long can I burn my candle at one time?
We recommend burning your 8 oz candle for no longer than 4 hours at a time and your 2 oz candle for no longer than 2 hours at a time.
How long do your candles last?
Our 8 oz candles have an approximate burn time of 40 to 50 hours, while our 2 oz candles have an approximate burn time of 12 to 16 hours.
Can I burn the candle all the way down until there’s no more wax?
No. Always make sure to stop burning your candle once there is about ¼ inch of wax left as this is where a lot of the fragrance oil ends up and it becomes more flammable.
Why are there bumps in the top of my candle after I burn it and then it cools down?
Since your candle has been individually crafted out of natural, non-toxic ingredients, some slight discoloration, bubbles and bumps might occur, which is natural and nothing to worry about. The candle itself and its cozy scent will not be affected in any way.
What do I do with my candle vessel once I’ve burned all of my candle?
We don’t permanently brand any of our vessels because we want everyone to be able to reuse their vessels for whatever they may want or need. A couple of ideas are as storage, for decoration or as a brand new craft. We don’t recommend storing any type of food or anything edible in your vessel.
What type of packaging do you use?
We use sustainable, eco-friendly packaging and never use plastic or packing peanuts. This is because we believe in a healthier world free of single-use plastics, with less waste.
