Shipping policy

We're so excited for you to receive your cozy, macabre candles! Please read below for our shipping policies.

ORDER PROCESSING: Please allow up to 5 business days to process your order, with exceptions for pre-orders and during holiday times. Expect an email within that time to let you know that your order is on the way!

FREE LOCAL DELIVERY: If you would like to take advantage of our free local delivery for the Columbia, MO area, then while checking out select "Local delivery" as your shipping method and then email us at hello@thegothiccottage.com with your order number to set up a time and location for your delivery. It's as easy as that! Local delivery is available for addresses within the Columbia, MO area only.  If the local delivery option does not show up during checkout, your order is not eligible for local delivery. Emails sent after 5pm to set up times and locations for free local delivery will not be responded to until the following business day. When your order is ready for delivery, you will receive an email letting you know.

FLAT RATE SHIPPING: Orders are generally shipped within 5 business days using USPS or UPS. A flat rate shipping fee applies to all orders. We offer free shipping on all orders over $50. We do not currently ship outside of the United States at this time.

REFUNDS, RETURNS AND EXCHANGES: We do not accept returns. In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at hello@thegothiccottage.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
